Abdominoplasty
It is a procedure done to improve the abdominal contour, mainly in patients who have had several pregnancies or those that have lost a lot of weight and, as a result, the inferior area of the stomach is hanging, flaccid and with stretch marks. The objectives of this surgery are: Resection of excess skin, strengthening of the abdominal wall and achieving a waist line.
Types of anesthesia: In our team it is done with general anesthesia for better monitoring of the patient.
Disability: The minimum disability recommended is two weeks. Exercising can resume in the sixth week and exposure to the sun after three months.
Approximate surgery time: 2 - 3 hours.
