It is indicated for people who want to improve the physical appearance of their nose whether it is due to an accident or for congenital reasons. There are different degrees of complexity, which is why the duration varies between 1 to 3 hours. Usually, the patient wears a bandage and a splint on the nose, which will be removed after 10 days. The bandage will be changed regularly depending on the progress of each patient. 

The stitches are internal and do not need to be removed, in very few cases they are done on the outside, especially when the nasal alas are cut. 

 

Types of anesthesia: The anesthesia used for the rhinoplasty is general anesthesia.

Disability: The disability time for the rhinoplasty is approximately 10 days. Light exercising can be resumed after a month and exposure to the sun should wait three months.

 

Approximate surgery time: 1 - 3 hours.
