Liposculpture

Liposuction, liposculpture or liposelection is one of the most frequent surgeries currently done, it entails drying up the unwanted accumulation of fat in the different parts of the body. It is indicated to give shape to the body, for patients with normal or moderate fat deposits. For optimal results of this procedure, the patient should follow a good diet and exercise often after the surgery.

Liposuction in thin patients is called lipo-definition HD, and its goal is to achieve athletic and defined bodies, small waist lines and contoured bodies.

Currently, we are using advanced technologies where we can remove the excess fat in different parts of the body, with minimal bleeding and very little fibrosis, in a way that the patient can resume daily activities as soon as possible.

RENUVION® is our most innovative technology tool with which we can obtain skin shrinking in a degree that was not possible before without a big and disabling scar.  We can obtain as much as 65% of skin shrinking, depending on the physical, nutritional and genetic conditions of each patient.

Ultra Z® is an advanced ultrasonic device engineered to perform liposuction with greater precision. This technology gently liquefies fat while preserving surrounding tissues. Patients benefit from enhanced skin retraction, minimal downtime, reduced bruising, and no risk of burns.

Types of anesthesia: The anesthesia used for liposuction, depends on the magnitude of it and the treated areas. In liposuctions that involve more than one area, or on those that require drying of a significant amount of fat, it is recommended to use general anesthesia. Only in small localized touch-ups we are able to use local anesthesia and sedation.

Disability: The disability time of a liposuction depends on how many areas are treated and the amount of fat dried up. It can be of approximately 5 days. Exercise can resume in the second week and exposure to the sun should wait two to three months.

Approximate surgery time: 1 - 2 hours, with technology 3 - 4 hours.
